Job Description 

IT 00752-  Analyst-Application Support

 

Key activities include:

• Manage and respond to the day to day Changepoint inquiries, requests and production problems
• Maintain updates to operations documentation
• Run, analyse, action and communicate key Change point governance and compliance reports
• Run, analyse, action and communicate key Portfolio Management reports
• Execute  regression test model for testing of application fixes/patches and all business owned functions
• Create simple test plans and execute
• Maintain  updates to documentation on the Changepoint Self Help intranet site (on the Source)
• Assist in the configuration, testing and rollout of new versions / new features
• Assist in business analysis, reporting, testing, communication, and training support for key deliverables within the team

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Competencies:

·         Demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills.

·         Working knowledge of testing techniques, tools and methodologies is required.

·         Intermediate level experience with MS Excel and Notes is required. 

·         Strong oral and written communication skills.

·         Exposure or working knowledge of business analysis techniques, tools and methodologies is preferred.

• Consulting, facilitation, organizational and planning skills is preferred.

·         Exposure to or working knowledge of project techniques, tools and methodologies is desired.

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, business and project management people  

·         Demonstrated ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients and achieve outcomes through influence

·         Demonstrated technical aptitude

Undergraduate degree (or diploma) in Business, Computer Sciences, Math or other relevant discipline preferred
